Deliverable

AI-built website vs. agency website: an honest comparison

We sell AI-built websites, so read this knowing that. It is still an honest comparison, because overselling a deliverable is how you lose a customer by day thirty.

Where the AI site wins

Speed and marginal cost. A complete one-page marketing site — copy written from your brief, products presented, contact wired — publishes automatically, hosted for you, at no extra cost inside a plan. For a first U.S. storefront or a campaign landing page, that used to be a four-figure, four-week purchase.

Where the agency wins

Deep custom design, complex information architecture, e-commerce checkout flows, brand systems built from research. If your site is the product — marketplaces, SaaS, content businesses — you will outgrow a generated one-pager, and you should.

The questions that decide it

What must the site do in the next 90 days? If the answer is “make us findable and credible to buyers we contact,” generated is enough. If the answer involves conversion funnels, integrations or a brand relaunch, budget for custom work.

Either way: own your domain

Whoever builds it, the domain belongs in your registrar account, not your vendor’s. Everything else is replaceable; the domain is your accumulated trust. This applies to us too.

An AI-built site is included from the first plan tier — and if you already have a website you like, simply skip that deliverable.
